Gerald E. Grisamer, 54, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, died Aug. 15, 2005, in Carson City. He was born April 12, 1951, in Molin, Mo., to Orbie and Helen Grisamer.
He graduated from high school in Provo, Utah.
He married Sylvia on Jan. 20, 1978, in Riverton, Wyo.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Great Falls, Mont.
Mr. Grisamer served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and Desert Shield and retired after 24 years of service. He worked for Snap-On Tools for 11 years. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald.
Among his survivors are his wife, daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Michael Floyd, son James and daughter Michelle, all of Carson City; sisters Patti Fisher and Linda Goodrich; brother James; grandchildren Heather and Dustin Floyd and numerous extended family members.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
