A memorial service was held Aug. 27, 2005, at Spooner Lake for Susan Woodin, 46, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years.
Mrs. Woodin died Aug. 23, 2005, at her home in Carson City of heart failure. She was born Jan. 15, 1959, in El Monte, Calif., to H. David and Teresa Stern Woodin.
Mrs. Woodin enjoyed hiking and camping with her family, showing her border collies, teaching, skiing, biking, dancing and traveling.
She worked first as and archeologist and later as a teacher at Carson Middle School. She was a member of the Quick Silver Agility Club.
Among her survivors are her husband, Gregg Lomorey; her parents; sisters Sandra Miller and Sarah Woodin; and brothers David L. and Paul.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
