Lola Mary W. Dressler, 78, a Gardnerville resident for the past 56 years, died Feb. 13, 2005, in Gardnerville.
She was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Sacramento, Calif., to George A. and Bertha Wilson.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Folsom, Calif.
She married Frederick Dressler.
Mrs. Dressler was a homemaker. She was a member of a bridge club and a literary club in Gardnerville. She taught swimming lessons and was a 4-H sewing leader and a 4-H camp chaperone.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Theodora Vance and Virginia Schneider and brother, George "Bud" Wilson.
Among her survivors are her husband of 56 years, son, Devere and daughter Tonja Dressler, all of Gardnerville; daughters Candyce Wipfli of Wellington and Roxanne Dressler of Redwood Valley, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
At her request, no service will be held.
