Carson Bulldogs settle for second

The Carson Bulldogs youth wrestling club narrowly lost the title at the Fallon Tournament held this past weekend.


More than 250 wrestlers from 14 teams participated in the event. The Bulldogs settled for second after losing the title by two points to the Sparks Raiders. Fallon was a distant third and Winnemucca took fourth.


Those who won titles for the Bulldogs were: Jarod Butler, Bryce Moyle, Nolan Shine, Nicholas Lani, Kyle Sharp, Willy McDonald, Blake Davidson, Casey Hill, Nevin Elliott, Michael Wilcoxson and Eric Wilcoxson.


Others who placed for the Bulldogs were: Jacob DeBusk, third; Shea Brewer, third; Cole Catlin, second; Kye Catlin, third; Brady O'Keefe, second; Cody Cunningham, third; Brandon Davidson, fourth; Riley Hutchings, second; Austin Klesow, fifth; Billy Myer, fifth; Garrett Nicholson, sixth.


Christian Tercero, fourth; Kaleb Wold, fourth; Patrick Craugh, fourth; Garrett Manoukian, second; Ricky McDonald, third; Brent Moyle, fourth; Anthony Pisani, third; Nolan Wilcock, third; Owen Craugh, second.
