The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 50-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12:05 p.m. Friday at Long Street and Saliman Road on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court, suspicion of misdemeanor driving without proof of insurance, driving with a suspended license and driving with expired plates. Bail was set at $1,718.

• A 36-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12:10 p.m. Friday at Long Street and Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle. Bail was set at $237.

• A 39-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 9:54 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of North Carson street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.

• Barney Aubrey Stephens aka James Matthews, a 28-year-old transient, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Friday at North Carson Street and Winnie Lane on a felony warrant for being a fugitive from justice, suspicion of felony attempt to use a fake ID, being an ex-felon with a firearm, misdemeanor warrants for contempt of court and failure to appear, suspicion of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.

• A 38-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of East Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and reckless driving. Bail was set at $4,396.

• A 43-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 8:36 p.m. Friday at 10th and Carson streets on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, carrying an open container and failure to dim headlights. Bail was set at $1,386.

• A 20-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 11:37 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor assault, battery and trespassing. Bail was set at $2,001.

• A 24-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Saturday at Lompa Lane and Carmine Street on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear, suspicion of misdemeanor DUI, driving without a license, driving without proof of insurance, driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $4,019.

• A 33-year-old truck driver from Carson City was arrested at 2:53 a.m. Saturday in the 7700 block of Highway 50 East on a misdemeanor warrant for probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

• A 21-year-old car painter from Carson City was arrested at 11:11 p.m. Friday at Rolling Hills and Ridgecrest drives on a misdemeanor warrant for violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,000.
