William G. Dabovich Sr., 88, a Gardnerville resident for the past 20 years, died Feb. 20, 2005, in Gardnerville. He was born June 20, 1916, in San Francisco to George and Anastasia Mitrovich Dabovich.
He married Elizabeth Nov. 28, 1943, in Oakland, Calif.
Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in Sacramento.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Feb. 19, 2000, in Gardnerville; and son, William Jr. on Nov. 19, 2003, in Reno.
Among his survivors are his daughter, Diana Walcom of Gardnerville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be in the spring at South Lake Tahoe.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
