A Carson City man was arrested Tuesday on drug trafficking charges after detectives went to his Riley Circle home to question him about stolen guns.
Larry Ray Arthur, 49, unemployed, was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
According to the arrest report, detectives went to 5 Riley Circle on a Secret Witness tip that there may be stolen weapons inside.
Arthur invited detectives Bob Motamenpour and Dave Legros inside and denied any knowledge of the stolen guns, but voluntarily admitted he was an ex-felon out of Oregon on a drug conviction and he had a weapon in the home, Motamenpour wrote in his report.
