The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 44-year-old framer from Carson City was arrested at 2:52 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. A cash-only bail of $234 was set.


• A 39-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Salmon Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


n Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A man reported Sunday his stepson has stolen more than $4,000 from him.


• A homeowner found four people in her Nichols Lane back yard Sunday attempting to steal aluminum. The woman yelled at them, and the people fled.


• A white Toyota Tercel was stolen just after 7 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Green Court.


• A motel tenant in the 2700 block of South Carson Street called to report a loud party in the room above her room Monday at 12:37 a.m.


• A home in the 1700 block of Belmont Avenue was burglarized sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Monday.


• A stolen white Mitsubishi Eclipse was recovered from a tow yard Monday at 3:40 p.m.
