A graveside service for Bette J. Farnham, 82, a longtime Carson City and Dayton resident, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Dayton Cemetery in Dayton.
Mrs. Farnham died Jan. 16, 2005, at Eagle Valley Care Center in Carson City. She was born May 30, 1922, in Oakland, Calif., to Henry and June Delafield.
She most recently lived in Dayton, but lived in Carson City since 1965. Before moving to Nevada, she lived in Dixon, Calif.
Mrs. Farnham was a homemaker and enjoyed hiking, waterskiing, the outdoors and spending time with her family.
She married Elwyn "Jim" Farnham July 23, 1940, in Yuma, Ariz. He preceded her in death July 30, 2002.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Susan Farnham of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Rocky Falcke of Nevada; brother, Robert Delafield of Castro Valley, Calif.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Barton-Memorial Hospice of Gardnerville or to the Nevada Humane Society.
