A celebration of life for Liana Bomar, 55, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at FitzHenry's.
Mrs. Bomar died Jan. 26, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1949, in Santa Fe, N.M., to Gonzalo Sr. and Katheryn Miller Gonzales.
Before coming to Carson City she lived in Southern California.
Mrs. Bomar enjoyed bowling, crocheting, traveling and her grandchildren. She worked as the office manager for the Carson City Area Chamber of Commerce for the past 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Among her survivors are her husband, Gordon, of Carson City; son Chris Mahr of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; daughter Danette Farnsworth of Whittier, Calif.; mother of Santa Fe; sisters Ramona Gonzales and Francesca Gonzales both of Santa Fe; brothers Gonzalo of Reno, Miguel of Abiquiu, N.M., and Ricardo of Santa Fe; grandsons Broox Mahr and Max Farnsworth; granddaughter Constance Farnsworth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
