Wylie Richard McBride, 68, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, died Jan. 30, 2005, at home. He was born April 13, 1936, in Commerce, Okla., to Earl Lyle and Rosalyn Farris McBride.

He married Ernestine Lisle.

Mr. McBride worked for Sierra Pacific for 17 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Masonic Lodge 13 and the Shriners. He was a square dancer.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956 and the Air National Guard for 30 years.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; daughter, Pamela McBride of Nampa, Idaho; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
