A celebration of life for Roy John Hoheisel, 75, a Carson City resident for the past 16 years, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Father's Heart Christian Fellowship in Carson City.
Mr. Hoheisel died June 6, 2005, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
He was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Evanston, Ill.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Southern California.
Mr. Hoheisel worked for an insurance company for 40 years. He later worked part-time as a custodian for the Carson City Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed working in his garden, camping and fishing.
He served in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his brother Bob.
Among his survivors are his wife of 33 years, Lynn; daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Jim Mayes of Dover, Tenn., Teresa and Chris Sullivan of South Lake Tahoe and Karen and Bob Macias of Chino, Calif.; daughter, Lisa Hoheisel of Sparks; a brother and sister-in-law of Lynwood, Wash.; a sister-in-law in Kensington, Md.; six grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
