A memorial for Edward Harrison Jones Sr., 87, of Yerington will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Yerington Vineyard Church, 307 Broadway St., Yerington.
Fellowship will be held after the memorial, at 412 Shipley Drive.
Mr. Jones died June 15, 2005, in Yerington. He was born Feb. 16, 1918, in Canton, Ohio, to Edward Jones and Olive Miller Jones.
Mr. Jones was a member of the U.S. Army during World War II. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Mason Valley Moose Lodge No. 2428.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Beulah; a brother, Lewis, and an infant daughter.
Among his survivors are his daughters, Jacquie Freeman, Juanita Dietrich, Ed Jones Jr. and Judy Jones; sisters Olive Jane Diana, Vivian May Sickles, Helen Edwards; brothers Stanley Jones and Victor Jones, all of Ohio; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fallon Cemetery.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
