Keston Denny and Alyce Kugler both won titles to lead another outstanding effort for the Carson Douglas Rodeo Club at the Washoe County High School Rodeo over the weekend.
Kugler won Saturday's go-round in girls cutting with a 72.5 while Denny won Saturday's bull riding with a 70.
Also on Saturday, Denny took sixth in steer wrestling at 13.44 seconds.
Jonathan Glocknitzer also placed for the Carson-Douglas Club, taking sixth in boys cutting with a 63.
During Sunday's go-round for the Carson-Douglas club, Pia Wendell was eighth in barrel racing at 18.936, Kugler was eighth in girls cutting with a 69 and sixth in pole bending at 21.984, Glocknitzer was eighth in boys cutting with a 60 and Denny was fifth in steer wrestling with an 18.64 and seventh in bull riding with a 61.
Pesis is honored
Carson High graduate Rachel Pesis was recently honored by Pacific Lutheran University as a four-year-letter winner in women's crew.
