Cynthia Robin Head

A memorial service for Cynthia Robin Head, 45, a Yerington resident for the past five years, will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 22 at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, 25 Highway 208, Yerington.

Mrs. Head died Nov. 12, 2005, at her daughter's home in Yerington. She was born Dec. 8, 1959, in Albany, Ga., to James and Nora Lou Coiner Cooley.

Before moving to Yerington, she lived in Carson City.

Mrs. Head was a volunteer EMT and received a proclamation from Gov. Guinn for KOLO News Channel 8 "8 Who Care."

Among her survivors are her daughter Tabitha Dority of Yerington; sister Tammy Cooley of Silver Springs; brother James Cooley Jr. and father, both of Yerington; two grandchildren and ex-husband George.

Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge arrangements.
