A funeral for Evelyn Leah Devor, 91, a former Carson City resident, was Monday at Spilsbury Mortuary in St. George, Utah.

Mrs. Devor died Nov. 16, 2005, in St. George.

She was born Sept. 25, 1914, in Cleveland to John Samuel and Eva Graham Brittain Power.

She spent her early years in Pueblo, Colo.

She graduated from business school.

She married Robert "Bob" Devor April 26, 1941, and they lived in Lamar, Colo.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Campbell, Calif., for more than 30 years.

Mrs. Devor served as office manager for the Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed horseback riding and playing the piano.

She was preceded in death by brother, Arthur J. Power, formerly of Denver.

Among her survivors are her husband and daughter and son-in-law Patricia L. and Russell Foster, all of St. George; daughter Sharon K. Lewis of Nampa, Idaho; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
