Anyone with information relating to the death of Adam Wells is asked to contact the Carson City Sheriff's Department.

Detective Bob Motamenpour said it's clear a number of people know some facet of the events surrounding Oct. 5 when Wells, 20, was beaten and subsequently killed in a home on Stanford Drive.

Friday morning Motamenpour recovered evidence off Goni Road after someone led him there.

He declined to say what the evidence was, but said the person who turned it over was someone who had not been previously questioned by police.

"If people have first-hand information about this case I'd like them to give me a call," he said. "If someone saw something, that information could be useful to the investigation."

Danny Shaw, 21, Tyler Cruz, 24, Juan Cervantes, 20, and Fred Bechtold, 20, have all been charged in Wells' death.

Shaw, Cruz and Cervantes stand accused of beating and dumping Wells' body in Brunswick Canyon. They are being held without bail.

Bechtold allegedly helped clean and conceal evidence in the attack. His bail is set at $15,000.

Motamenpour can be reached in the Sheriff's Department's Detective Division at 887-2020 ext. 1410.
