State and Carson City offices will be closed Friday for Nevada Day.
Also the Carson City Sanitary Landfill will be closed for the holiday on Friday.
Regular operations will resume Saturday.
School will not be in session Friday in Carson, Storey, Lyon or Douglas school districts.
Western Nevada Community College campuses and learning centers in Carson City, Fallon, Minden, Fernley, Hawthorne, Lovelock, Smith Valley and Yerington will be closed.
The Carson City Marriage Bureau, 885 E. Musser St., will be open Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The front counter of the Carson City Sheriff's Department will be closed Friday.
Carson City Senior Citizens Center and the Dayton, Douglas County and Silver Springs senior centers will be closed Friday.
The Storey County and Yerington Senior Centers will be open.
The Carson City Library will be closed Friday and Saturday. Silver Stage public libraries will be closed Friday and Saturday.
Lyon County public libraries, other county offices and the marriage bureau will be closed Friday.
Douglas County public libraries will be closed Friday and Saturday.
The U.S. Post Office at its Carson City Main Office, 1111 S. Roop St.; and Ormsby Station, 2613 Empire Ranch Road, are open for Nevada Day.
Bank of America will be open. Colonial Bank and Wells Fargo will be closed Friday.
Citifare will be on its regular schedule; PRIDE will operate normally. Call 348-RIDE for complete schedules and information.
The Nevada State Museum will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30. on Saturday. Admission is free.
Halloween will be celebrated and trick-or-treating take place in Carson City on Oct. 31.
The Nevada Appeal business offices will be open.
