The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 39-year-old limo driver from Carson City was arrested at 12:41 a.m. Monday at Colorado and Carson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, no insurance and no headlights. Bail was set at $1,931.
• Duke Edward Maita, 34, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 9:51 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Lovelace Way on suspicion of felony commercial burglary. Bail was set at $25,000.
• Jader Raul Morales-Torres, 19, a student from Dayton, was arrested on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon. His bail was set at $42,500.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls deputies responded to Sunday:
• Three people were arrested in Mound House in the early morning.
• A misdemeanor arrest was made at 1:31 a.m. on Hardie Lane in Fernley.
• An accident at 9:49 a.m. in the 2200 block of Highway 50 East in Dayton.
• Vehicle burglary report in the 1200 block of West Newlands Drive 11:25 a.m. in Fernley.
• A brush fire on Beach 11 on Lahontan State Park at 12:37 p.m.
• Residential burglary report in the 4000 block of East Ninth Street at 2:42 p.m.
• A fire at Artesia and Upper Colony roads in Smith Valley at 4:09 p.m.
• A child molestation report at 7:42 p.m. in Fernley.
• A domestic dispute on West Tucker Lane in Mason Valley at 8:52 p.m..
• A fight report at a bar in the 200 block of Frontage Road in Mark Twain.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls deputies responded to Sunday:
• A warning for speed and having an expired license was issued to a driver in the Virginia City Highlands at 4:44 a.m.
• A woman was drinking and wrecked her car at a gate on Wild Horse Canyon Drive at 5:39 a.m. She was arrested.
• A person was not seriously hurt in a single-vehicle rollover on State Route 341 at Cartwright Road at 11:18 a.m.
• A man called to report his neighbor's dog was barking and he would sign a complaint. A deputy talked to the dog owner and they promised to keep the dog quiet.
• Twenty cars and a concession tent was seen on American Flats Road at 1:31 p.m. The Bureau of Land Management was called.
• Deputies were unable to locate a speeding motorcycle on Canyon Way at 2:33 p.m.
• A tractor was on fire at 3:42 p.m. outside the fire station on North C Street. It was extinguished.
• A report for "death threats," was taken at 4:44 p.m. after two neighbors on Scorpion Road argued over property lines.
• Juveniles on Canyon Way were putting brake cleaner on eggs and lighting them on fire at 6:38 p.m. Deputies spoke to the juveniles and they agreed to stop.
• Two people wandering around in backpacks were seen in to Lockwood at 7:08 p.m.
