Robert Acosta, 50, a Carson City resident for the past several months, died Sept. 28, 2005, in Carson City. He was born July 27, 1955, in Los Angeles.
He married Maria Acosta.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Riverside, Calif.
Mr. Acosta was a maintenance man at a local nursing home. He enjoyed listening to music and taking walks.
Among his survivors are his wife of San Diego; son Steve and daughter Natalie Acosta, both of San Diego, Calif.; many grandchildren in Southern California and Texas; one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews; father and stepmother Roberto and Eleanore Acosta of Carson City and sisters Delia Moreno of El Paso, Texas, and Lily Acosta of Long Beach, Calif.
A funeral service will be held in San Diego.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
