The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 35-year-old cement worker from Yerington was arrested at 9:25 p.m. Friday at Colorado and Birch streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, no headlights, failure to use turn signal and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $1,373.


• A 20-year-old construction worker from Yamika, Wash., was arrested at 8:01 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of North Roop Street on suspicion of three misdemeanor warrants. Bail was set at $988 cash.


• Jason Bender, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:03 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of South Carson Meadows Drive on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, nine counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $4,364.


• A 52-year-old fast food manager from Carson City was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Friday on Brunswick Canyon Road on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to obey a court order. Bail was set at $542 cash.


• A 35-year-old waitress from Carson City was arrested at 10:11 a.m. Friday in the 3800 block of East Sherman Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, leaving the scene, obstructing a peace officer, no proof of insurance, violation of alternative sentencing. Bail was set at $5,903. A 43-year-old construction worker from Carson City and a 42-year-old tree climber were also arrested at the scene. The construction worker was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense, hit-and-run accident, no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $5,010. The climber was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of an alternative sentence. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.


• Terry Thomas Parisi, 53, a heavy-equipment operator from Gardnerville, was arrested at 7 p.m. Friday at the Douglas County Detention Center on suspicion of felony violation of a protection order. Bail was set at $15,000.


• A 34-year-old student from Lake Tahoe was arrested at 4:39 p.m. Friday at Nye Lane and College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence second offense, no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance, failure to yield. Bail was set at $4,006.


• An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 7:50 a.m. Saturday in the 5300 block of Goni Road on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court. Bail was set at $500 cash.


• A 29-year-old World Gym employee from Minden was arrested at 12:47 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $408 cash.


• A 37-year-old nurse from Carson City was arrested at 3:18 a.m. Saturday at Fifth and Carson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to obey a traffic signal.


• Jamie Brian Howard, 38, of Sparks, was arrested at 2:52 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice. Laura Gail Tinsley, 45, of Sparks, was also arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $2,500.


• Luis Meza, 25, transient, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of stolen property, speeding, failure to use a turn signal, stop light violation, stop sign violation, possession of drug paraphernalia and no valid driver's license. Bail was set at $5,294.


• Michael Sean Coyner, 32, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Diamond Avenue on suspicion of felony manufacturing methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $41,132.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 109 calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of shots fired at Ninth and Bass streets in Silver Springs at 12:40 a.m. Friday.


• A domestic dispute in the 600 block of Silverlace Boulevard in Fernley at 10:11 a.m. Friday.


• A report of child abuse or neglect in the 3900 block of West Spruce Avenue in Silver Springs at 1:29 p.m. Friday.


• A report of a battery in the 70 block of Canal Road in Smith Valley at 6:32 p.m. Friday.


• A domestic dispute in the 600 block of Silverlace Boulevard in Fernley at 7:44 p.m. Friday.


• A report of a subject with a gun in the 1300 block of East Newlands Drive in Fernley at 9:43 p.m. Friday.
