A memorial service for Sara E. Willett, 88, a four-year Gardnerville resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.
Ms. Willett died April 12, 2006, in Carson City.
She was born Oct. 21, 1917, in Plymouth, Calif., to Antonio Pieroni and Esther Mary Ferina.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Alameda, Calif., for 50 years.
She was an accountant.
She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Fifi.
Among her survivors are her children Annette Luis of Gardnerville, Kathleen and Ted Craig, George and Stefani Kirkland, Tony Luis Jr., Susan and Wil Rice, Judy Cantrell, Patty Luis and JoAnn Borchardt; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Cremation took place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane, Gardnerville, NV, 89410.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
