A fire at Santa Maria Ranch was reported to be contained at 3:53 p.m. The fire grew to seven acres and was on the north side of the River. Santa Marie Ranch is on the west end of Dayton just down from the Dayton Hill. The fire appears to be on the north side of the Carson River.
