The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:




• Bradley Owen Emmans, 21, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:16 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, probation violation and contempt of court. No bail was set.


• Edward Allen Bettencourt, 43, a bricklayer from Carson City, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Monday on suspicion of felony battery on a prisoner. He allegedly assaulted Emmans while in jail.


• Kyle Montgomery Carpenter, 18, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. Monday in the 2700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale.


• Danny Gravely Jr., 18, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Monday at Fifth and Allouette streets on suspicion of felony burglary, misdemeanor domestic battery, destruction or property and minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $28,974.

• Commercial burglary report in the 5200 block of Metric Way at 6:07 a.m.


• Child in need of supervision in the 1900 block of North Carson Street at 11:06 a.m.


• Commercial burglary report in the 200 block of South Carson Street at 12:08 p.m.


• Residential burglary report on Sierra Circle at 12:27 p.m.


• A bicycle was reported stolen from the 400 block of South Saliman Road at 12:30 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 2500 block of Brookside Way at 2:56 p.m.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:




• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 7:12 a.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 2900 block of Pueblo Street in Silver Springs at 10:07 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Augusta Court in Dayton Valley at 2:05 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest on Lahontan Drive in Silver Springs at 3:41 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Arrest on North C Street at 9:04 a.m.


• A report of a woman being bitten by a dog on Ave De La Coulours at 5:34 p.m.
