Mary E. Maynard, 88, a Dayton resident since 1982, died Dec. 17, 2006.
Mrs. Maynard was born Nov. 19, 1918, in Douglas, Ariz., to Michael and Margaret Elias.
She married Frank Maynard on Aug. 31, 1946, in Los Angeles.
Before moving to Dayton, Mrs. Maynard lived in Torrance, Calif., for 30 years.
She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dayton.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband; oldest son, Louis Michael Maynard; and brother John Elias.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Jacqueline Larson of Dayton; son Frank Maynard Jr. of Salinas, Calif.; sisters Beatrice Tallamantes of Carson, Calif., Lumina of Los Angeles and Lynne Elias of San Bernardino, Calif.; brother Mike Elias of San Bernardino,; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was buried in the Dayton Valley Cemetery.
