All Western Nevada Community College campuses are closed. Classes resume Jan. 22.


All U.S. post offices will be closed Monday. Most banks and credit unions will be closed Monday, as the Federal Reserve will be closed. Check your branch for details.


CARSON CITY


Classes at Carson City schools resume Jan. 8.


The Carson City Senior Citizens Center will be closed Monday.


Capital Sanitation will continue regular garbage pickup on Monday.


The Carson City Marriage Bureau will be open New Year's Day from noon-4 p.m., but there will be no judge available.


The Carson City Sheriff's Department will be closed. Officers will patrol as usual. The holidays will not affect visitation.


The Carson City Library will be closed Monday.


Jump Around Carson bus will not be running Monday.


The Nevada State Museum and the Nevada State Railroad Museum will both be open regular hours Sunday, but closed Monday.


The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada will be closed Sunday and Monday.


The Carson City Aquatic Facility will be closed Monday.

DOUGLAS COUNTY


Classes for Douglas County schools resume Jan. 8.


The Douglas County Citizens Center will be closed Monday.


Garbage disposal will run as usual Monday. Tree collection is Tuesday through Jan. 6.


The Douglas County Public libraries will be closed Sunday and Monday.


The Douglas County Marriage Bureaus in Minden and Lake Tahoe will be closed Monday.


Douglas Area Regional Transit will not be running Monday.


LYON COUNTY


Lyon County schools are closed until Jan. 8.


The Dayton, Silver City and Fernley senior citizens centers will be closed Monday.


Lyon County Public Library branches will all be closed Monday.


STOREY COUNTY


The Storey County Senior Citizens Center will be closed Monday.


BUSES


RTC RIDE in Reno will operate on a Sunday schedule Monday. Sierra Spirit will operate on a normal Monday schedule. RTC INTERCITY between Carson City and Reno will not be running. In addition, RTC RIDE will keep 17 of its most popular routes running from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Sunday for free to discourage drunken driving.
