A visitation for Larry Eugene Allen, 67, a six-year Carson City resident, will be 6-8 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mr. Allen died Dec. 22, 2006, in Carson City. He was born March 16, 1939, in Lewiston, Ill., to Ira and Leona Allen.
He married Kathy Ann King on July 15, 1989, in Nauvoo, Ill.
Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Allen lived in New London, Iowa.
He was a graduate of Parson College in Fairfield, Iowa.
He was a property accountant with Dial Corp. in Ft. Madison, Iowa.
He belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America for 47 years in Iowa.
Among his survivors are his wife, of Carson City; sons Randall, Russell and Terry Allen; daughter, Calla Allen; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Jerry Cook of St. David, Ill.; brothers Warren Allen of Ohio, and Ira Allen Jr. of Bend, Ore.; two grandchildren and many extended-family members.
Burial will take place in Montrose, Iowa.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
