A graveside service for Frances Forrette, 94, a 26-year Carson City resident, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, Calif. Visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at the Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary.
Mrs. Forrette died Dec. 24, 2006, at Carson Convalescent Center. She was born Dec. 9, 1912, in Littlerock, Iowa, to George Boekhout and Trientje Visker.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Forrette lived in North Hollywood, Calif.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Forrette, in 1980, and by a brother and two sisters.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Francis and Sheila Forrette of Pear Blossom, Calif.; daughters Lora Day and Sherry Forrette, both of Carson City; and grandson Albert Day of Hollywood.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
