Armon Johnson hit five three-pointers on his way to scoring 36 points as the Hug boys basketball team rolled to a 98-62 win over Douglas on Saturday at home.

Douglas fell to 5-7 in the Sierra League while the Hawks stayed unbeaten in league play. The Tigers continued to see their playoff hopes slip away and it won't get any easier for them as they play at Reno on Tuesday.

Unfortunately we kind of ran into a bit of a buzzsaw and we didn't respond very well," Douglas coach Rob Streeter said.

Keith Olson scored 26 points and Streeter also praised the play of Nate Whalin and Michael Gransbery. "Some guys stepped up nice for us," Streeter said.
