Visitation for Teresa Elizabeth Dees, 41, will be 3-6:30 p.m Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City.
Mrs. Dees died Feb. 4, 2006, at her parents' home in Carson City. She was born Aug. 25, 1964, in Carson City to L.W. and Elizabeth Paul.
She graduated from Carson High School, where she was an accomplished athlete; and from the University of Nevada, Reno.
She worked as a pharmacy technician for St. Mary's Regional Medical Center for 12 years and as a police officer for the cty of Reno and the University of Nevada police departments for three years. She was a loss- prevention supervisor for Wal-Mart.
She belonged to St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother Doug and her father, both in 2004.
Among her survivors are her mother; husband, Tim of Laurel, Md.; sister, Deborah Privett of American Falls, Idaho; brothers Larry Paul of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Steve Paul of Carson City; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or to St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
