Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• An intrusion alarm sounded at 2:12 p.m. in the 2000 block of Lousetown Road.
• A warning for speeding was given to a driver at 11:06 a.m. on State Route 341.
• A water pipe burst on Avenue De La Argent in Lockwood at 7:18 p.m.
• Jordan C. Dennis, 20, of Dayton, was booked into the Storey County Jail on possession of marijuana, unlawful use of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested on State Route 341 at 7:18 p.m. after someone saw him walking on the highway. When contacted by an officer, Dennis allegedly smelled of marijuana and the deputy discovered marijuana in his pocket. A presumptive drug test given to Dennis at the jail allegedly came up positive for both marijuana and methamphetamine. His bail was set at $6,132.
• A caller witnessed a domestic dispute on Sam Clemens Drive at 7:35 p.m. A citation was issued.
