State-issued checks will look different as of today
Starting today, all checks issued by the state of Nevada will have a different look and feel to them. State Controller Kathy Augustine announced that there is a new processing and printing system for state-issued checks. They will no longer be mailed as a check within a windowed envelope; instead they will be a single unit with tear-away perforations. The change comes as a money-saving measure and as a safety measure.
For information, visit www.controller.nv.gov or call 684-5750.
