Dave Beronio of Douglas County and Nat Johnston of Reno fished with dry flies at Wall Reservoir in Northern Washoe County, last weekend. They slept in the back of the camper pickup truck, and it got so bitter cold during the night that their water bottles froze solid.

Dick Biggs of Carson City is returning to Anchor Point, Alaska for Halibut and King Salmon fishing in mid-July. His wife, Wanda, wants Dick (age 89) to join a health club to exercise between now and then to get in shape for that trip. Geez, drinking Manhattans would be more fun.

Jack Cooke of Carson City left the Ormsby Sportsmen's Association meeting on Tuesday evening, before it was over. At the end of the meeting, when they had the "Skins Drawing" for $40, wanna guess whose name was drawn. You must be present to win that cash.

Nancy Hettrick of Carson City said she almost got seasick, while recently standing on the portable dock at Topaz Lake. It was moving up and down, while she was watching her husband's (Don) boat go around in circles due to mis-wired steering mechanism by their son, Tracee.

Vic and Sally Luker of both Virginia City Highlands and Los Gatos, Calif. have been married for 24 years and they have a 24-year-old cat whose name is "Fuzzybutt." Her Email address is sallybonehead@yahoo.com.

Gene Phelps of Carson City has a regular telephone and two cell phones at home. This week, when he tried to call a friend in Tucson, Ariz., it took awhile before he finally realized that he was trying to dial on his television remote control. Technology is great!

Don Quilici of Carson City bought his new 2006 Nevada fishing license, Trout Stamp and Second Rod Stamp on the Internet, last Sunday. The only mistake he made was when he put Carson City in Nebraska instead of Nevada.
