A suspicious package found near the Horseshoe Club at the corner or Carson Street and Telegraph Avenue at 10:52 a.m. Sunday brought out the Tahoe Douglas bomb squad. But the package only contained a fluorescent light bulb wrapped in bubble wrap.

Sgt. Jeff Melvin of the Carson City Sheriff's Office said deputies evacuated the club and the block of Telegraph between Carson and Curry streets, closed down Carson Street, then called the bomb squad.

The squad detonated the package at about 1:20 p.m. using a robot, Melvin said.
