A funeral service for Michael Edmund Zglinski, 46, an eight-year resident of Carson City, will be 1 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service.
Mr. Zglinski died Feb. 18, 2006, at his home. He was born July 14, 1959, in Owyhee to Bernard Edmund Zglinski and Hazel Blossom Zglinski.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Reno.
He enjoyed water and snow skiing, boating, roller blading, fishing, camping and hiking.
He was preceded in death by his father on March 26, 1983, in Reno.
Among his survivors are his son Michael Ryan of Kailua, Hawaii; daughter Neshawn Zglinski of Reno; mother of Carson City; sister Marsha Mills of Tumwater, Wash.; brothers John A. Zglinski of Jacksonville, Ill., and Darrell W. Thomas of Las Vegas, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation took place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
