The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Angel D. Thompson, 27, self-employed from Lake Tahoe, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. Wednesday on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, misdemeanor drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding driving on a suspended license, driving with suspended registration and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $12,878.


• Michael Cryer, 42, a tile setter from Sparks, was arrested at 10:46 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of gross misdemeanor false imprisonment and second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,632.


• Michael Joseph Thompson, 42, a repairman from Carson City, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony failure to appear and misdemeanor failure to pay fine. Bail was set at $5,832.




-- The following are some of the 160 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• A cab driver reported at 12:31 a.m. a man was refusing to pay his bill in the 3600 block of South Carson Street. He was taken into civil protective custody.


• A residential burglary report in the 1800 block of Camille Drive at 12:27 p.m.


• A vehicle theft report in the 1300 block of North Edmonds Drive at 5:21 p.m.


• A door was reported broken into at 7:09 p.m. on a business in the 2200 block of South Carson Street.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 79 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Misdemeanor arrest in the 300 block of Helen Avenue in Yerington at 12:34 a.m.


• Accident on Riverboat Road in Mark Twain at 7:44 a.m.


• Accident on Highway 50 East in the westbound lanes in Mark Twain at 11:41 a.m.


• Child abuse report at the Dayton substation at 12:36 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest following a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Hazelnut Drive in Fernley at 8:21 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the 22 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Someone was taking pictures of the buildings next to the school at 12:33 p.m.


• An employee on North C Street reported receiving threatening phone calls at 2:34 p.m.


• An arrest was made in the 900 block of Waltham Way at 3:29 p.m.


• A vehicle's transmission went out on Main Street and was blocking the road at 6:32 p.m.


• An arrest was made on State Route 341 at 7 p.m.


• A 28-year-old female was transported to the hospital after losing consciousness while having a seizure in Lockwood at 7:04 p.m.
