The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 24-year-old equipment operator from Carson City was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $832.


• A 22-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 10:58 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear and domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,419.


• A 31-year-old homemaker from Silver Springs was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Sunday on misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $3,000.


• A 43-year-old floor installer from Carson City was arrested in the 3500 block of Haystack Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a temporary restraining order. Bail was set at $3,132.


• A 49-year-old man from Yerington was arrested at 11:07 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of trespassing. Bail was set at $237.


-- The following are some of the 451 calls to which deputies responded Friday, Saturday and Sunday:


• A man arrived at the emergency room at 2:05 a.m. Friday with a stab wound to the thigh. After some investigation, deputies believed the man inflicted the wound to himself.


• The Nevada Rural Housing Authority office on Desatoya Drive was burglarized sometime Thursday, and the incident was reported Friday at 7:08 a.m.


• A Nevada Department of Transportation laptop computer was stolen, possibly on Feb. 14.


• A fight was reported in the 1900 block of Fall Street at 9:44 a.m. Friday.


• A bike was stolen from a garage in the 3300 block of Kitchen Drive sometime Friday night.


• A report of a transient attempting to get into an empty room at the Downtowner Motel in the 800 block of North Carson Street ended in the arrest of one person on possession of methamphetamine at 12:41 p.m. Saturday.


• A toddler was found alone and crying in the 200 block of East Park Street at 3:39 p.m. Saturday.


• A fight involving "seven or eight people fighting with bats" was reported in the 3900 block of Pheasant Drive at 10:55 p.m. One person was arrested.


• A report of "subject throwing items, and hit (caller) and his mother," at 11:13 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Ninth Street.


• Non-injury accident reported at 1:02 p.m. Sunday at Airport Road and Highway 50 East.


• A woman was seen urinating in Mills Park at 4:25 p.m. Sunday. She was taken into civil protective custody due to intoxication.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 80 calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Misdemeanor drunken driving arrest on Highway 50 East at Dayton Hill at 12:08 a.m.


• Fire on Thorn Circle in Fernley at 2:53 a.m.


• Tree fire on Beach 4 at Lake Lahontan in Silver Springs at 9:21 a.m.


• Injury to motor vehicle report on Dayton Valley Road at 12:07 p.m.


• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 7 p.m. Medics transported patients.


• Reported drunk driver on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 10:45 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the 21 calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


• Traffic citation was issued to a driver on Canyon Way at 9:06 a.m.


• A suspicious package was reported at the Comstock Historical District office on South C Street at 12:47 p.m. Incident was resolved.
