The 12th Annual Model Dairy Charity Fishing Derby will held at Pyramid Lake on March 11-12.
That two-day derby is sponsored by Model Dairy of Reno.
The cost to enter the derby is $60 per person.
Your entry fee includes a Continental breakfast and barbecue lunch, each day, and Saturday night's barbecue dinner.
Each contestant receives one raffle ticket for a chance to win a 2006 Arctic Cat-500 4x4 TRV with trailer, weekend packages, sporting goods and other prizes.
All contestants must be pre-registered before going fishing.
Each person is responsible for all licenses and registration fees required by the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe.
Fishing teams may consist of from one person to four members.
There will be a Fish Pool contest open to all teams. This is an "All or None" pool which means that all team members must enter or none on the team may enter.
The cost to enter the pool is $10 per person.
The prizes for the Fish Pool are: $2,000 and a gold, silver and ruby belt buckle for the heaviest fish, $1,000 for the second heaviest and $500 for the third heaviest.
Team cash prizes will consist of: $1,500 and four silver belt buckles for first place, $1,2000 and four engraved fillet knives for second place, and $1,000 and four trophies for third.
Final weigh-ins will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Anglers must be in line by those times to have their fish weighed.
A maximum of two legal fish per person will be allowed in the derby. You may not "bump" a smaller fish with a larger one.

Sign-ups at Pyramid Lake will be held: 3-6 p.m. on Friday, March 10 or 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday March 11 and 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday March 12.
