Vanessa Rauch and Kelsey Bradley both won events for the Carson Tigersharks at the Douglas Dolphin Invitational held on Saturday at the Carson Valley Aquatic Center.
The 10-year-old Rauch won the 50-yard freestyle and also qualified for the Junior Olympics in the 100 free where she took second. She took second in the 50 backstroke as well.
Bradley, 7, won the 25 free, took second in the 25 butterfly, was fourth in the 20 back and 25 breaststroke and ninth in the 100 individual medley. Other results for girls who swam for the Tigersharks were:
Caitlin Campbell, 8 - 25 back, sixth; 25 fly, fourth; 50 back, 10th; 50 free, ninth. Claire Adams, 7 - 25 back, ninth, 50 back, 11th, 25 free, eighth. Charlee Bradley, 9 - 50 free, third; 50 back, third; 50 breaststroke, sixth; 50 fly, fourth; 100 I.M., fifth.
In addition, Mikel Flatley, 5, the youngest swimmer in the meet, took 15th in the 25 back.
