Jennifer Norman of the women's Sierra Nevada Active 20-30 Club, was named national president of the Active 20-30 United States and Canada, which consists of more than 1,000 members.
She is the third woman to hold the position.
Norman was read into her office on June 24 in Scottsdale, Ariz., during the organization's national convention.
"It's a great honor, and I'm looking forward to a busy year," said Norman. Last year, the national president traveled more than 250,000 miles. Norman plans to match that number over the course of her 12-month term.
"My club got me here and I'm happy to represent our nation for such a worthy cause," she said.
