A memorial service for Maxine E. Peters, 84, a 58-year Carson City resident, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Chapel.
Ms. Peters died July 6, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 14, 1922, in Reno, to Arthur H. Randall and Bernice C. Harris.
She was a high school graduate and attended two years of college. She was an accomplished artist.
She worked for the State of Nevada Employment and Security Department for 49 years.
Among her survivors are her daughter Christie Peters of Carson City; sister Dorathy Hilbig of Reno; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Donations may be made to Calvary Chapel, 1744 Forrest Way, Carson City.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
