Raymond J. Heyer, 84, a 35-year Carson City resident, died July 6, 2006, in Carson City.
Mr. Heyer was born Nov. 17, 1921, in Hayward, Calif.
He married Shirley J. Heyer on Feb. 4, 1945, in San Diego.
Mr. Heyer served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He enjoyed playing keno at the Carson Nugget.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; sons Steven Heyer of Charlotte, N.C., and Doug Heyer of Green Valley, Ariz., and three grandchildren.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
