A funeral mass for Patricia Panelli Kiley, 90, a Carson City native, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2900 McCarran Boulevard in Sparks. Burial will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Kiley died July 11, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born April 23, 1916, in Carson City to Narciso Panelli and Gioconda Donati.
She married Niel Kiley on Feb. 26, 1934, at St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral in Reno.
Before moving back to Carson City, Mrs. Kiley lived in Hawthorne.
She lived in Dayton and Fernley during her high school years.
She worked for the Naval Ammunition Depot for 30 years and at the U.S. Department of Personnel Administration.
She belonged to NARFE, volunteered at Hot August Nights and the Great Reno Balloon Races, belonged to the Washoe County Medical Center Auxiliary Board, was a docent at the Wilbur D. May Center at Rancho San Rafael Park in Reno, and organized bridge party fundraisers.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, James and Sheilla Kiley of Carson City; grandchildren Elizabeth Shoemaker, Sharlene Davis and Jamie Pruneau; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
