The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Christopher Schumacher, 23, of Dayton, was arrested at 7:38 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Brown Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $3,632.


• A 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of petty larceny and probation violation. She allegedly stole a bottle of tequila from a grocery store. Bail was set at $3,347.


The following are some of the 137 calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Vehicle burglary report in the 2400 block of East Nye Lane at 9:02 a.m.


• A report of two dogs stolen from the 5800 block of Salk Road at 9:25 a.m.


• A report of a juvenile driving his car and knocking down construction cones at North Roop Street and Hot Springs Road at 2:35 p.m. The driver was cited.


• A report of child abuse and neglect in the 800 block of South Roop Street at 3:17 p.m.


• Accident at Roop and Corbett streets at 4:19 p.m.


• Accident at East Seventh and South Plaza streets at 5:55 p.m.


• A mother reported finding a bruise on the leg of her 7-month-old when she picked the child up from day care at 8:54 p.m.


• A report of a fence being destroyed on Bel Aire Way at 9:27 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 87 calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Fire on Fort Churchill Road in Stagecoach at 6:12 a.m.


• Graffiti report in the 10000 block of Highway 50 East in Mound House at 8:59 a.m.


• Fire in the 500 block of Spur Way in Fernley at 12:52 p.m.


• Accident on Interstate 80 in Fernley at 4:35 p.m.


• Accident in the 600 block of LaFond Avenue in Mark Twain at 9:38 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the 32 calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Traffic citation at 7:13 a.m. on Six Mile Canyon Road.


• Traffic citation on Six Mile Canyon Road at 6:58 p.m.


• Report of shots fired down by the river in Lockwood at 8:52 p.m.
