A celebration of life for former state Controller Kathy Augustine will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the Old Assembly Chambers in the Capitol, 101 N. Carson St.
Augustine died July 11, 2006, at Washoe Medical Center.
Friends and colleagues will be encouraged to share individual stories and memories.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Augustine.
She is survived by her parents Philip and Katherine Alfano, husband Chaz Higgs; daughter Dallas Augustine; brothers Anthony and Philip Alfano and their families.
