Fallon man dies in rollover

An 18-year-old Fallon man was killed Friday night following a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 near Wadsworth.

At 5:35 p.m., Richard Porter was eastbound in a 1985 Ford Bronco when the vehicle lost control, rolled over the median and ejected him. Porter was taken to Washoe Medical Center by Care Flight Helicopter and later died from his injuries.

The two passengers in the Bronco were both wearing seat belts and sustained minor injuries. They were taken by ambulance to Washoe Medical Center.

Alcohol is not being considered at factor in the accident.
