A memorial service for Bea Coffman, 82, of Gardnerville, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church on Centerville Lane.
Mrs. Coffman died July 23, 2006, in Gardnerville. She was born July 12, 1924, in Fredricksburg, Iowa, to Lawerence and Helen Weibly.
She married Calvin Coffman in 1939 in Las Vegas.
Before moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Coffman lived in Independence, Calif.
She worked at Radio Shack as a sales clerk.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and grandson Larry Phillips of Mohave, Calif.
Among her survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Garlene and Perry Philips of Topaz Ranch Estates and Sylvia and Bill Arnett of Gardnerville; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; and numerous extended-family members.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice or to a charity of choice.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
