The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 30-year-old flooring installer from Sparks was arrested at 12:15 a.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $10,000.


• Justin C. Carrigan, 22, a manager from Carson City, was arrested at 2:21 a.m. Tuesday in the 4200 block of Pheasant Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and felony preventing a victim from reporting a crime. Bail was set at $8,132.


• Logan Young-Haines, 18, of Carson City, was arrested at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Fairview Drive on a Douglas County warrant charging failure to appear on suspicion of gross misdemeanor damaged to property used for educational purposes. Bail was set at $10,000.


Some of the 163 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• A juvenile was arrested in the 600 block of East Stewart Street at 3:57 p.m.


• Battery report in the 1700 block of Belmont Avenue at 5:25 p.m.


• Commercial burglary in the 5800 block of South Carson Street at 5:53 p.m.


• Battery report in the 1600 block of North Edmonds Drive at 7:46 p.m.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 93 calls to which deputies responded:


• Commercial burglary on Julius Lane in Mound House at 6:59 a.m.


• Arson report in the 1200 block of Donner Trail in Silver Springs at 8:17 a.m.


• Accident in the 200 block of Highway 95 Alternate at 8:46 a.m.


• Fire on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 4:21 p.m.


• A misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 5:26 p.m.


• Burglary report in the 100 block of Desert Springs Lane in Fernley at 5:55 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the 16 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Campaign signs were vandalized on I Street at 7:49 a.m.


• An arrest was made on State Route 341 at 9:43 p.m.


• A report of someone in a truck rounded up horses on Canyon Way at 11 a.m.


• A caller reported there was an injured hawk or eagle in her yard on Lousetown Road at 4:31 p.m. The Department of Wildlife said the bird likely had eaten a squirrel and wouldn't be able to fly until it digested its meal.
