Olive Mae Ore, 81, a four-month Carson City resident, died July 24, 2006, in Carson City.
She was born May 30, 1925, in Warren, Ohio, to George M. Powers and Alma P. Heeter.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Garden Grove, Calif., for 53 years.
She managed Little League teams and later girls Bobby Sox softball teams. She was a mail clerk for an insurance company.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She belonged to the Four Square Church in Garden Grove.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer S. Ore, in 1972.
Among her survivors are sons Spencer Ore and Robert and Jim Ward, all of Carson City, George Ward of Garden Grove and Chuck Ward of Topaz; daughters Maggie Vargus of Topaz, Marian Flatt of Phoenix, Ariz., and Marilyn Wilcox of Kentucky; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private family viewing and service are scheduled.
Burial and graveside services will be at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, Calif.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
