Gifts: A hometown friend, Barney Regan, died in March 2005 and left Reid and his wife, Landra, his half-interest in the 18-acre Dubuque Mining Claim in their hometown of Searchlight, Nev. The Reids already owned the other half. The gift was valued at $10,000 and Reid received a waiver from the Senate Ethics Committee to be able to accept it. Senators must get waivers to accept gifts worth $50 or more.

Major sources of unearned income: Gibbons reported modest capital gains and dividends from several of his retirement investments; the largest sum was $5,001-$15,000 from shares in Cadbury Schwepps.

Narrative: Gibbons got $6,043 in pension payments from Delta Pilots Retirement Trust, $2,543 in pension payments from the Travelers Insurance Company, and $226 from State Farm. He reported paying off a personal loan to the Congressional Federal Credit Union but didn't list the amount. He bought and sold some stocks within his Morgan Stanley account; none of the transactions was valued at more than $15,000. Gibbon's wife, Dawn, who's running to replace him in Congress, also reported a number of stock holdings in companies including Dell, General Electric, Intel and Microsoft as well as a Morgan Stanley IRA.

With her husband Berkley purchased the 208 D St. property last year for $1 million to $5 million and a property in Buckeye, Ariz., for $15,001-$50,000.
She traveled to Tel Aviv in a trip paid for by the American Israel Education Foundation.
